A Restaurant and Rooftop Lounge, newly opened in the heart of Riverside,
Construction is well underway and we will be opening in November 2017 to enjoy those long, lazy north Florida sunsets and beautiful starry skies. The first floor of River & Post will have approximately 6,300 square-feet of dining area as well as a bar. With ample parking available, the downstairs dining room is designed for 233 seats and outdoor seating for 48. The first floor will also include private dining and event space. The ninth-floor rooftop bar totals 3,500 square feet, with seating for 122 stargazers and another 32 seats indoors. We're inspired by the great rooftop bars of Chicago and San Francisco, and we're eager to bring our vision to - and of - the Jacksonville skyline.

At the corner of Riverside & Post you'll soon find an exciting new restaurant concept with a rooftop overlooking downtown...straight down the gorgeous St. John's River...past the glow of the stadium...and on up to Dames Point. You'll find an atmosphere like no other and a culinary experience that will make you, well, yell from the rooftops.
While our journey is just beginning, we're excited to share our story and we look forward to being part of and serving the Jacksonville community.
Having trained under Wolfgang Puck, Eric Ripert, David Burke and Alain Ducasse and educated at the Culinary Institute of America and University of Florida, Elizabeth Arana’s resume impressed the owners of River & Post. Once they tasted her cooking they were convinced she was the right fit. Arana will start in July 2017 as the Executive Chef of the soon-to-open Riverside restaurant, which will open in the Fall at 1000 Riverside Avenue at the corner of Post Street in Jacksonville’s Riverside area.
Arana will lead the culinary process for River & Post, initially managing the kitchen design and service processes.
